About Gothenburg terminal

Gothenburg RoRo Terminal is situated in the port of Gothenburg at the mouth of the longest river in Sweden, Göta Älv, and overlooked by the beautiful scenery of Älvsborg Fortress. The terminal specialises in car and RoRo handling and is an important part of the Swedish import and export chain, as well as being strategically located next to major road and rail services.

Cargo handling

Cargo as diverse as commercial cars, trailers, goods on cassettes, equipment, machines, containers, and project cargo are stored and handled on a daily basis. The railway connections can carry cargo such as steel, paper, SECUs, containers, and trailers.

There are 7 berths within the terminal capable of handling vessels up to 280m in length x 11m in draught.

Warehouse

Warehousing & storage

The terminal has a 14,000m² weather protected paper logistics centre with direct covered access to the rail tracks connecting the facility to the rest of Sweden and beyond. The terminal also offers cross-docking facilities for container, SECU, truck, and railway.
