Surcharges for transportation on DFDS Seaways St. Petersburg - Karlshamn - Kiel ferries
DFDS Seaways closely follows the development of bunker prices and the USD rate of exchange. In order to compensate for fluctuations in the cost of these, DFDS Seaways charges a surcharge or Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF).
The additional cost for low sulphur fuel oil (as required by SECA and the Marpol Convention) is also included in the Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF).
- Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF per lane meter)
- March 2012 = €20.50 per lane meter
- April 2012 = €20.50 per lane meter
- May 2012 = €21.50 per lane meter
- Surcharges for electrical connections are available on request from the local agency
- Charges for harbour dues are available on request from the local agency
- Charges for customs clearance are available on request from the local agency
- Surcharges for the shipment of hazardous goods are available on request
- Winter surcharges € 10 per lane meter valid from 1 December 2010 until 30 April 2011
