DFDS Seaways Klaipeda - Copenhagen - (Aarhus) - Fredericia freight ferry shipping route
This route provides services between Lithuania and Denmark. The service is operated by one vessel which completes the route twice a week.
The cargo mix on this route includes driver accompanied trailers, trailers, containers on mafi’s, tractors, excavators, combine and parts for combine on mafi’s, machinery for agribusiness, machinery for drying corn and used cars.
Access from terminal. From Fredericia there is easy access to southwestern Denmark as well as the island of Funen and from Aarhus there is easy access to the Central and Northern parts of Western Denmark, while Copenhagen is a hub for Eastern Denmark and Southwestern Sweden with a wide range of infrastructural options.
From Klaipeda in Lithuania there is easy access to the Southern and Central Baltic States as well as Russia.
Optional connection to/from UK are also available via DFDS Seaways' Esbjerg-Immingham and Esbjerg-Harwich routes.

Abnormal loads
- For trailers longer than 13,6 meters,truck/trailer longer than 17 meters, containers/tank-containers/flats longer than 20', 30' or 40' additional rates are given on application.
- For units exceeding 2.6 metres in width the following surcharges shall apply: (Excess width calculations must be done on total unit length.) 2.61 - 3.00 m basic rate +25% 3.01 - 3.50 m basic rate +50% 3.51 - 4.00 m basic rate +100%
- For loads of abnormal heigh please contact your agent for maximum height information.
- The gross weight for selfdrives/trailers/flats/containers marked on each unit must not be exceeded. This must also conform to current government road/rail regulations. If this is found not to be so, discharge will be at Shipper's expense.
- Shipment of units exceeding 40 tons of weight is subject to prior approval with additional rates are given on application.
